What materials are used for the MAXintheBOX products?

All parts are made from birch laminate TÜV-certified non-toxic (emission class 0). The surfaces are treated with DIN-standards-conformant non-toxic paints.

Have the MAXintheBOX products been safety-tested?

Yes, by TÜV-Thüringen in 2004.

What is the target user group for the MAXintheBOX products?

Because of their versatility, the MAXBOX furniture is suitable from children from about the age of eight months. They provide support for toddlers, learning to stand up and take their first steps, who can easily reach the lower seat height of about 12 cm. The remaining back rest prevents the child from falling, while the modules’ exceptional stability prevents MAXintheBOX toppling over.

Our experience has shown that children will make daily use of this furniture well into school age. Used as stools or tables, the MAXintheBOX units are still useful for older kids and are even used occasionally by adults.

What is so special about the design of these products?

This kind of children’s furniture has a long, successful history. It has been around in various forms since the beginning of the 20th century and is frequently found in schools and nurseries.

The individual elements can be combined in many different ways – limited only by your children’s imagination – to become chairs, tables, cupboards, shelves, hiding places, and much more. Carefully positioned slots ensure that the elements engage firmly in each other so that they can not become dislodged once assembled.

The elements are flat-packed and are quick and easy to assemble without using glue. Once assembled, they can be taken apart again but are rugged enough to withstand heavy usage. With their rounded edges, the elements are safe and comfortable to use. The precise, modular arrangements of parts and assembly slots allow the elements to be combined securely in many different ways.

2. Delivery

Who ships the products?

The products are sent directly by the manufacturer. It is therefore possible that your orders can arrive in several shipments if they include different products.

How long does delivery take?

The manufacturers usually dispatch the products within two to six days from receiving an order. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as the products are sent. After that, delivery takes about one or two days.

Are the products insured during transport?

All shipments are covered by transport insurance. Please inspect your goods when you receive them, especially if the packaging shows signs of damage or careless handling.

What does postage and packaging cost?

The delivery costs are:

1. Germany, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, delivery is free for orders over 110.00 euros. For orders below 110.00 euros, we charge 8.00 euros for postage and packaging.
2. To Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic and Hungary, delivery is free for orders over 215.00 euros. For orders below 215.00 euros, we charge 16.80 euros for postage and packaging.

3. How can I pay?

How safe is paying by credit card?

Your credit card data is sent SSL-encrypted and cannot be read by others. (SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer)

All you need is an SSL-capable browser. Most modern browsers, including Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla and Opera, support SSL.

5. Sale or return

Can I return the products if I am not happy with them?

You can return the delivered goods within two weeks after receiving them. You do not have to give reason for returning it.
The returned goods must be unused and in their original packaging. Before returning your goods, you must notify us by fax (+43 316 815678-15) or e-mail ().

Will I get a refund?

If you return your purchase unused and in its original packaging within the specified time, we will give you a full refund.

7. Payment security

How safe is it to pay by credit card over the Internet?

Your credit card details are sent in an encrypted form and can not be read by others.
For encryption, the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method is used, and you will therefore need an SSL-capable browser. Most modern browsers, including Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla and Opera, support SSL.
In SSL encryption, the browser reads the receiving server’s (i.e. our server’s) certificate to ensure that the data is sent to the correct recipient. The certificate also contains the key for encrypting the data..

What will my personal data be used for?

Your data will be used only to complete your order. We will not pass your information on to other people or organizations not involved in processing your order.

Is there a product warranty?

The warranty period specified by law applies. In the event of a product fault that is covered under the terms of the warranty, we shall repair the products, supply a replacement or refund the purchase price at our discretion.
